The League has requested the Spanish Federation, at the request of the clubs, to postpone Espanyol-Valencia, a match on matchday 13 of the First Division, as well as Tenerife-Levante, corresponding to matchday 14.
The body chaired by Javier Tebas has made the request to the RFEF after the two clubs have requested it: «Only a week has passed since the DANA catastrophe occurred and the situation is still very serious. “Both clubs appreciate the understanding and empathy shown by La Liga, the Royal Spanish Football Federation and our rivals and we maintain our firm commitment to continue helping all the affected municipalities in the province of Valencia,” the joint statement read. the two professional teams from the city of Valencia.
The two teams no longer played the matches scheduled for last week, against Real Madrid and Málaga. Neither did the rest of the clubs in the Valencian Community.
