Children’s football once again shows the most unpleasant side of the sport. A mother’s unsportsmanlike behavior has led her 10-year-old son to have to apologize to the referee. It happened over the weekend in a match between two young teams from Granada: Albolote and Alhendín.
During the match, the parent of one of the players jumped onto the field and without saying a word slapped the 19-year-old referee. He responded by pushing away the aggressor, who tried to hit him again. At that moment, several people, including the woman’s son, run to separate them to prevent the brawl from continuing. According to witnesses of the attack and as seen in a video circulating on social networks, the 10-year-old boy can be seen separating his mother and apologizing to the referee.
An attitude that has been quickly denounced by both clubs. They have issued a statement in which, in addition to reproaching the aggressive attitude of this woman, they have also included the sanction that they are going to impose on her.
