The 12mi Conquest of the Vanier Cup on Saturday ultimo by the Rouge et Or did not go unnoticed in the eyes of the NFL, which took the trouble to highlight the feat by giving a nod to former tight end Antony Auclair .
On the league’s official Facebook page, which follows more than 20 million subscribers, the NFL has published two messages in French.
“The Laval Rouge et Or, the best in the country, are the champions of the 2024 Vanier Cup,” read the first publication, accompanied by a team photo.
Then, the league in remis with a second publication highlights the contribution of Antonio Auclair, who has been part of the coaching staff of the Red and Gold throughout the season.

According to the communication advisor of Rouge et Or, Frédéric Bhérer, it is the first of these dates that the NFL directly congratulates the Rouge et Or on the réseaux sociaux.
“In the middle of American Thanksgiving, it’s magical,” he reacted.
Auclair flattered
During the campaign, Auclair contributed to Rouge y Or as an offensive assistant. He notably supported offensive coordinator Justin Éthier in the creation of party plans, and also worked directly with tight ends, wide wings and center backs.
“I thought it was really cool that the NFL bothered to give us a nod. It’s a great showcase for Canadian university soccer,” he said.
“We anticipate that the NFL is increasingly trying to establish itself in Canada, and messages like that are really important,” added.
After leaving college, Auclair landed a job with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a free agent the day after the 2017 draft. He won the Tremendous Bowl with them at the end of the 2020 season, when quarterback Tom Brady is his teammate.
After four seasons in Tampa Bay, the collaborator approached a disputed season with the Houston Texans, with the consequences of a registration with a unique touch in transport, on October 10, 2021. A brief passage with the Titans of Tennessee preceded in the return.
