THis Cowboys in Dallasonce known as “America’s team,” they are now facing difficult times. Looks like they need a new title, maybe something like “The American Fiasco”. There is a lot of chaos going on from the top down and big changes are on the horizon in Dallas. This was already expected Jerry Jones would be looking for a new coach at the end of the season, especially since he has only given Mike McCarthy a one-year contract. But now it appears the process has been accelerated due to some issues with the team’s roster, lack of a running game, and a number of unfortunate injuries.
Jerry Jones is considering two very different options for a new coach. One is Deion Sanderswho did amazing things in Colorado with the Buffaloes football program. In just two seasons, he transformed the team into a playoff contender, which is pretty impressive considering he had never had coaching experience in the NFL.
The other option is Bill Belichickwho is an experienced coach with tons of NFL experience. It’s a bit like comparing apples to oranges, but some experts think Belichick might be the better choice.
The Cowboys are looking for a new coach
During ESPN’s First Take, one of the speakers, Chris “Mad Dog” Russohe explained well why Belichick could be a good fit for the Cowboys. He said: “I think Belichick is the perfect guy.” He also said that Belichick likes Jerry Jones and that he is not far from breaking a record held by Don Shula. So, there are some interesting factors to consider when thinking about who should take over as the Cowboys’ new coach.
It’s definitely a tough decision for Jerry Jones to make, but it’s clear he wants to turn things around for the Cowboys. Whether it’s Deion Sanders or Bill Belichick, It will be interesting to see who ultimately takes up the challenge to bring the American team back to glory.
