The penultimate day of the International Purebred Spanish Horse Show (PRE), held at FIBES (Seville), attracted thousands of national and international visitors, who filled the three pavilions during an intense day of competition and shows.
One of the most anticipated moments was the delivery of the PRE Awards, awarded by the Royal National Association of Purebred Spanish Horse Breeders (ANCCE). This recognition went to personalities from different fields:
– Carolina Marín, Olympic and world badminton champion.
– Jesús Álvarez, journalist and presenter.
– Rocío Peralta, Sevillian flamenco fashion designer.
– Sebastián Castella, renowned bullfighter.
– The Major Burns Unit of the Virgen del Rocío Hospital in Seville, for its outstanding work in the healthcare field.
The winners, who received the award with great emotion, became the center of attention in the prelude to the evening show, surrounded by personalities such as Francisco and Olivia de Borbón, Fiona Ferrer, Syliane de Vilallonga, Gloria Camila Ortega and Tiziana Domínguez.
In addition, ANCCE granted the recognition of Honorary Members 2024 to Alfonso del Castillo and Gabriel Posada, the entity’s highest distinction.
From the early hours of the day, the SICAB tracks vibrated with the finals of the 9th, 11th, 13th and 14th sections of the World Conformation Championship, as well as with the tests of the ANCCE Tourism Cup of Andalusia for Dressage, Gusto del South of Western Dressage, Cruzcampo of Driving and Defender of Working Horsemanship.
The most emotional moment of the day was the participation of the Olympic rider José Daniel Martín Dockx, who, riding Malagueño LXXXIII (bred by the Francisco Santiago stud farm), won the title of Grand Prix Champion of the ANCCE Cup Final.
