On Monday 18 November, after 12 years of presidency, the president of ASD baseball Godo Carlo Naldoni resigned. The shareholders’ meeting will be convened on December 10th for the election of the new president and the new management.

Dear members of the management of ASD Baseball Godo,
as announced some time ago, with this letter, sent by certified mail, I am formalizing my resignation from the position of President of ASD baseball Godo. After 12 years, which also had moments of great difficulty, but which, for the most part, gave me and us beautiful moments and filled us with satisfaction and pride, fun and the pleasure of being part of and having important roles in society local and in the world of baseball, I believe the time has come to make way for others who can take up the baton and, with renewed enthusiasm, continue to carry forward this splendid adventure which has always been called “the Godo miracle” and not to wrong. After 12 years there is a need to move on, to propose and implement new ideas and new projects. To do this, a renewal of the management team is necessary, starting with the undersigned. As you know, in fact, with my resignation, the management also declines. It is therefore necessary to convene, within 30 days from today, the shareholders’ meeting to proceed with the election of a new president and a new management.
Aside from the bureaucratic formalities, I believe I owe many thanks, or rather a mountain of thanks, to all of you and to all those who in some way and at different times collaborated with the company and helped me carry out the task that I had been asked to do. entrusted. As far as I’m concerned, I gave everything I could and did my utmost to meet the needs of society and to solve the problems we have had to face over the years, even within the limits of my abilities.
I will certainly have made many errors, omissions, I will not always have understood what to do and how and I apologize to all of you, just as I apologize if at times I let myself go and we argued or argued, I know well that it shouldn’t be done, but the passion and love for this company can make this understandable. To this I add my apologies if I may have offended anyone. All this, I assure you, happened in perfect good faith and was certainly not my intentions.
Obviously I will remain available, for any eventuality or help or clarification, both to the new president and to the new management and I will continue to actively follow our company and our teams always with enthusiasm, passion and participation. I wish everyone to be able to achieve maximum results and satisfaction from their work and commitment, my support will certainly not be lacking.
