600 schoolchildren from 45 schools in the city trained and played with ex-football players of the Russian national team
600 Voronezh schoolchildren participating in the “Football at School” project played with ex-football players of the Russian national team Dmitry Sennikov, Ruslan Pimenov, world champion in beach soccer Boris Nikonorov, European U-17 champion Alexei Gasilin, champion of the U-19 European Women’s Championship Elena Terekhova, as well as bloggers ArtPo and Tkachuk.
On November 27 and 28, children from 45 schools from the Voronezh region trained and played with ex-football players. After which we received personalized cards with autographs and took a photo as a souvenir.
Methodologists of the “Football at School” project Dmitry Barannik and Evgeny Semenov shared exercises with 30 teachers in the region that will help teach schoolchildren the basics of football and concentrate their attention in lessons.
“Football at school” is a project of the Russian Football Union. Its goal is to involve as many children and teenagers as possible in the most popular sport in the world. Schoolchildren across the country have the opportunity to get involved in football in physical education classes and school football sections, participate in regular Leather Ball School Football League tournaments and festivals.
