From November 3 to 6, a selection camp of the Russian national team will be held in Krasnogorsk near Moscow, in which 20 players will take part.
The team’s coaching staff called the following players to the training camp:
Goalkeepers: Bulat Gainatullin (Communist Party of the Russian Federation, Moscow), Alexey Egin (Gazprom-Yugra, Yugorsk), Dmitry Yudin (Sibiryak, Novosibirsk), Denis Kasimchuk (Ukhta).
Field players: Daniel Ilyin (Communist Party, Moscow), Igor Chernyavsky (Gazprom-Yugra, Yugorsk), Alexander Grebenshchikov, Dmitry Zaitsev (both – Torpedo, Nizhny Novgorod), Gleb Timoshenko, Denis Sukhovey (both – Sinara, Yekaterinburg ), Roman Ivanin (New Generation, Syktyvkar), Roman Karelin, Vladislav Musin-Pushkin (both – Ukhta), Ilya Andreev (LKS, Lipetsk), Mikhail Markov (IrAero, Irkutsk), Denis Povarov, Maxim Konovalov, Alexander Krutyy (all – Norilsk Nickel, Norilsk), Alexey Vladimirov, Aziz Muzhdakov (both – Tyumen).
As part of the selection camp, a methodological meeting will also be held with the head coaches of Super League and Major League clubs. The event will take place on November 4 and will include a lecture by the coaching staff of the Russian national team, led by Beso Zoidze, as well as an open training session for specialists.

– We invited 20 players who are in the nearest reserve to the selection camp. Some of the guys have already been called up to the national team, while others received an invitation for the first time.
The November FIFA window is quite short, so we decided not to look for an opponent for the test match, but to pay more attention to educational and training work. We will work in a relaxed manner, and the emphasis will be on familiarizing the players with the requirements of the coaching staff.
At the end of the training camp, we will divide into two teams and play a two-way match. Based on the results of the selection camp, we will select players who will be called up for the December matches of the national team. We’ll tell you about the opponent later.
In addition, we will hold a methodological meeting with the head coaches of the Super League and the Major League. This is also an important story for the integration of our ideas not only within the Russian national team, but also in the clubs.
