ADC Hoyo (www.adchoyo.es), with the collaboration of the local City Council, prepares the XII Christmas Solidarity Race “Sancadas Solidarias”, which this year will focus on Valencia.
Since its first edition, the race has allocated 100% of the proceeds to help children. Given the recent climatic events suffered in the Levante area, the organization has decided to allocate the funds raised from Zancadas Solidarias to minors affected by DANA in Valencia.
At this time, the Association of Hoyo Runners -ADC Hoyo- is working urgently, looking for the best option and partners so that the funds reach the affected families and children in the area judiciously and effectively.
In the coming days, the sports association will reveal the names of the organizations it will rely on to deliver aid to the victims.
XII edition of Solidarity Strides
The test will take place on December 15 (starting at 11:00 a.m.). It will have a mixed route of 11 km through mountains and asphalt; passing through the streets and parks of the Madrid municipality and through the foothills of the Sierra de Hoyo de Manzanares.
Both the departure and arrival have been set around the Plaza Mayor. The categories will be divided into youth, senior and veteran (female and male modality); starting from an age limit of 14 years. The first three classified athletes in each category will receive a trophy.
Children’s career
After the adult race, a small free children’s race will take place. The little ones can also be protagonists in this day of Solidary Strides, the proceeds of which will go to Valencia. In this case, registration will take place on site and all participants will have their commemorative medal.
Registration for the race is limited to 450 participants and costs 15 euros. They can be formalized online through the association’s website www.adchoyo.es and the platform www.deporticket.com until December 13. The collection of numbers will take place on the same day of the test in the start/finish area from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
