Bologna, 18 November –
MVP of the day Alessandro Pajola, who completely changed the momentum of the match: 9 points and 4 assists with 3/3 three-pointers in a third quarter in which he dragged all his teammates, starting with the defense. These are his statements to DAZN: “We were good at changing the energy in the second half,” he explains, “we’ve been playing for three weeks in which we’ve been playing every two days. I thank the public, I too sometimes struggle to find energy but there is a precious boost at home and we must be good at exploiting it because up until now we haven’t always done so.”
Another protagonist of the evening was Andrejs Grazulis, 9 points in 11 minutes and 2 assists, growing and eager to help the team at the start of the season: “Playing in the championship is never easy, the schedule of the last few weeks has been really tough and it showed in the first half, while in the second we got back on track and started better. It wasn’t easy to reset the unfortunate EuroLeague match after a few hours, but this is the season, a long and busy season, we have to be good at starting again after difficult moments, but playing so many games we have to be ready at all times.”
