The X Judo Stage will bring together more than 350 judokas in La Línea de la Concepción

The X Judo Stage will bring together more than 350 judokas from all over Spain and Portugal on December 13 and 14, 2024 in the municipality of La Línea de la Concepción. The event will take place at the facilities of the Geiko Sports Club and the Municipal Sports Center, under the organization of the Geiko Sports Club and with the sponsorship of the Provincial Council of Cádiz, as well as the collaboration of the municipal Sports delegation.

The main speakers will be Yolanda Soler, Olympic medalist and champion of Europe and Spain, along with her daughter Ariane Toro Soler, who has won the bronze medal in the European Judo Championship and has represented Spain at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Domínguez , president of the Geiko Club, expressed his satisfaction by pointing out that “it is an honor to have Yolanda Soler ten years after she participated in the first edition of the stage, in 2014”. In addition, he highlighted the sporting level of both judokas and the positive impact that this event generates in the municipality.

For his part, the mayor of La Línea de la Concepción, Juan Franco, highlighted the work of the Geiko Sports Club as a reference for judo in the area, and highlighted the career of its president, Juan Carlos Domínguez, who has been practicing this sport for 46 years. sport.
