One of the most important sporting events that took place in this 2024 Skull Festival was the XI Archery Tournament, since great national sports figures participated, such as Ana Pau Vázquez and Matías Grande, who went to the Olympic Games. of Paris 2024.
The tournament was held over the weekend at the San Marcos Island Convention Center, with the participation of more than 400 archers from all over the country.

This event was the launching point for several of the archers who already participate in international events, since, in addition to providing an important financial reward, it also serves as preparation for future events.
After intense activity throughout the weekend, the main event was held on Sunday afternoon, where great emotions were experienced, not only in the stands, but also on the shooting range, with tense moments and moments of a lot of pressure.
The winner of the composite category was Sebastián García in the men’s category, while the winner was Dafne Quintero. For its part, in the recurve category, the winner was Aida Román, a legend in this sport, while the winner was Matías Grande, the great figure of Mexican archery at the moment.
The tournament had no details and the Mexican archers said they were ready for the 12th edition at the 2025 Calaveras Festival.
