OLD WARM BOOKS
A successful training year is almost coming to an end. After Paula Schmitz (March) and Felicitas Frederike Gellert (May), Theo Hornburg successfully completed the practical test for the trainer license at the Altwarmbüchener Badminton Club (BC) yesterday. This practical test, accompanied by the Hanover Regional Sports Association (RSB), took place during ongoing training operations. The training session was prepared by Theo Hornburg and the training concept for the unit was presented to the RSB in advance.
Maren Utischill, trainer and sports representative at RSB, visited the Altwarmbüchener BC to take and evaluate the practical test. Theo’s training path began in 2022 with the sports assistant training at the RSB. This was followed by the DBV coaching assistant training of the Lower Saxony Badminton Association and was completed by the Juleica seminar (Youth Leader Card) on Norderney. Like all other trainers, Theo Hornburg sat in on a training session, took a first aid course and completed lots of practical units in an assigned training group. Since the start of the training offensive in 2020, he has been the number 11 trainer. A thank you goes to all those responsible and trainers who guided Theo Hornburg during his training, monitored, motivated and supported training plans, as well as to all the kids from Theo’s training groups.
