The nominees in the Hague Sportswoman of the Year category are: Luna Fokke (hockey), Marit Bouwmeester (sailing), Marloes Oldenburg (rowing) and Pien Dicke (hockey). Duco Telgenkamp (hockey), Lennart van Lierop (rowing) and Luuc van Opzeeland (windsurfing) have a chance to win the title of The Hague sportsman of the year. Sports team of the year can be DKC (badminton), Haag88 (wheelchair hockey) and Odile van Aanholt & Annette Duetz (sailing). For the title of The Hague sports talent of the year, the public can vote for Isis van Loon (hockey), Jip Dicke (hockey), Louise van Oosten (football), Raiza van der Krogt (athletics), Roos Wind (sailing) and Sofie ter Kuile (hockey). Jaap Zielhuis (sailing), Kaj Böcker (sailing), Maikel Polanen (kickboxing) can become The Hague’s sports coach of the year. For The Hague referee of the year, Coen van Bunge (hockey), Evelien Berndsen (judo) and Henk Ruijl (football) have a chance of winning the title. Finally, there is the title ‘Hague sports volunteer of the year’. Dorine Dielen (HDM), Frans Clasen (SV Loosduinen) and Irene Dekker (Rugby Academy ZuidWest) still have a chance.
The Hague Sports Gala
The prizes will be awarded on Monday, December 16 during the Hague Sports Gala in the Zuiderpark Sports Campus. During this festive evening we will look back on a sporting year full of sporting achievements by athletes from The Hague and other memorable moments.
Richard Krajicek Prize
In addition to the sports prizes, the Richard Krajicek Prize will be awarded again this year. Throughout the year, the Krajicek Foundation Scholarshippers have organized various sports activities to get the neighborhoods of The Hague moving, both literally and figuratively. The best initiative will receive a nice cash prize, which will be used to improve the playground in the neighborhood.
New price
This year, for the first time, the ‘Sports Volunteer of the Year’ award will be presented during the Hague Sports Gala.
