The National Anti-Doping Agency organized the Fair Play Gala, which is a space to recognize contributions to ethics, fair play and highlight the values of sport.
The activity with Francisco León, regional director for Latin America and the Caribbean of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and Manuel Villalobos, Executive Manager of the Pan American Regional Anti-Doping Organization.

At the event, the athletes Beatriz Pirón, weightlifter; Bernardo Pie, from taekwondo; Prisilla Rivera, captain of the national volleyball team and Maria Dimitrovakata master, for raising the name of her country in World Cup competitions. While Félix Sánchez was recognized for his example of integrity and exemplary citizen, as well as Luisín Mejía.
As federations, those of Handball, Basketball, Gymnastics, Equestrian, Swimming, Taekwondo, Football, Rowing and Canoeing, Judo, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Karate, Athletics, Weightlifting, Cycling and Volleyball.
Laura Anabel Pinedo, president of the National Anti-Doping Agency, expressed “her gratitude for the support received by the World Anti-Doping Agency, the Ministry of Sports and the COD.
