This weekend, the Olympic Judo medalist, Prisca Awiti, was in Azcapotzalco to offer a Master Class and participate in the Judo tournament that was held at the Deportivo Victoria de las Democracies facilities.

Mayor Nancy Núñez was present at both events, where she took the opportunity to greet the Olympic runner-up and express her gratitude for her visit. During his speech, Núñez highlighted the value of this type of meetings to promote local talent and motivate Azcapotzalco athletes to follow their dreams.
In addition, the mayor revealed that they are in talks with Prisca Awiti to become a sports ambassador for Azcapotzalco, with the aim of giving greater visibility to the athletes of the region, not only locally, but also in Mexico City. Mexico and internationally.
