Third Istrian ŽNL Jug: Raša and Jedinstvo lead the league at the break – Sportalo

The matches of the 12th round of the Third Istrian ŽNL South have ended, thus ending the autumn part of the season. In a round full of excitement, unexpected twists and goliaths, the leading teams of the league maintained their dominance, and some teams fought for a positive end to the year. Race

Galižana kept pace with the top

NK Galižana registered a valuable victory against Valdebek with a score of 3:1. Already in the first ten minutes, thanks to two quick goals by Danijel Benčić, the home team took a big lead. At the end of the first half, Valdebek reduced through David Cerin, but the beginning of the second half belonged to Galižana. Ervin Oraščanin scored for 3:1, thus securing the victory. Galižana now calmly enters the winter break from the second position in the table.

Goliad in Valbandon

The incredible match between Valbandon ’72 and Šišan ended with a score of 4:4. The shooters excelled on both sides, but still there was no winner. Udovičić, Ranosović and Bogdan carried the home team, while Durić, Benčić and Jusić were responsible for Šišan. Valbandon and Šišan shared the points in a match that delighted the spectators.

Raša confirmed her dominance

The leading team of the league, NK Raša 1938, won 3:1 against Plomin in an interesting match. Haris Pozderović put the home team in the lead, and Elvedin Mulavdić secured the victory with two goals. Although Nino Fabeta reduced the score, Raša kept control and deservedly scored another three points. With this victory, Raša kept the first place in the table.

Flight outclassed by Barban

NK Polet from Snašić convincingly defeated NK Barban 4:0 in 2013. The scorers for the hosts were Endi Batelić, David Kršulja, Ivan Honović and Filip Faraguna. With this victory, Polet showed an enviable form and kept pace with the middle of the table.

Youth unity celebrated in Krnica

NK Jedinstvo Omladinac secured a 2:0 victory against Manjadvorac. Thomas Katičić and Dino Benazić were the scorers for the visitors, who, with three new points, maintained their points connection with the leaders in third place.

Order for the winter break

At the end of the autumn part of the season, NK Raša 1938 enters the break as the leading team in the league with 26 points. It is followed by Galižana and Jedinstvo Omladinac, while Valdebek holds fourth place. At the bottom of the table are Manjadvorci and Valbandon ’72, who will look for better results in the spring to avoid the bottom. The autumn part of the Third Istrian ŽNL South brought a lot of excitement and uncertainty, and the continuation of the season promises even bigger battles for the top and survival.
