NASK – BELISĆE 2:1
Cerna Našk responded to Cerna Našk’s victory with a home victory, so the battle at the bottom continues in two, at least for now, Slavija, Bedem and company still have a relatively tangible advantage. With this defeat, Belišće found itself exactly in the middle between the fight for the top and the fight for staying, now they are seven points behind Đakovo and eight ahead of Naško and Tomislav. The match in Našice was decided by the early departure of the visitors from Belišće, in the 45th minute the score was 0:0, and then Našk went to the break with a two-goal advantage, the scorers were Matej Patrun and Franjo Bilić. Belišće through Silvio Anočić reduced it in time and got back into the game, but Našk still did not allow a second goal, three big points remained in Našice.
Player of the match: Franjo Bilić
– I will just convey the words of the players… FINALLY… The first half our total dominance where we create 6-7 opportunities out of which we score 2 goals. In the second half, Belišće is pressing and we are threatening from half-counters and counter-attacks. They managed to score one of the free kicks. In the end, a well-deserved victory. I congratulate my players on the victory, and the players of Belišće on a fair and correct match. The player of the match is our entire defense, all 11 players, but if I have to single out a name, it’s Franjo Bilić. – Saša Korman, coach of Naška, told us.
– Congratulations to Našice on their well-deserved victory, they were the better team today. We played a disastrous first half, in the end they had a two-goal advantage, and they could have had more. In the sequel, we collected ourselves, played better, scored a goal and had some other situations, but we didn’t take advantage of them, maybe it wouldn’t have been deserved if we had. We missed Janček, Petrović and Milobara today, the midfield didn’t look good at all. Luckily, we collected enough points earlier so that we wouldn’t be in an awkward situation, if we didn’t know what it would all look like. – commented Miodrag Miki Vučenović, coach of Belišće.
ČEPIN – BORAC 0:0
Without goals in Čepin, something like that could be expected somewhere, both are in good series, nobody wanted to lose, so both camps were primarily thinking about how to preserve their net. Both of them succeeded, Borac remains the best defense in the league with only 12 conceded goals in 14 rounds, Čepin remains with only two conceded goals. It’s not that they wouldn’t benefit from a win, but this time the most important thing was not to lose.
Player of the match: Nemanja Andric
– I congratulate all the actors of today’s match. The opponent was a bit better in the first half because they went on the counter twice where our goalkeeper made a great save, although we also had a situation where their player kicked the ball off the line. In the second half, we played better, created some pressure, but we lacked a calm pass. We had shots that their goalkeeper saved and situations in which we should have been smarter, while in the very end the opponent had a dangerous chance with a shot. We don’t have a lot of time to recover and whine, but we have to regenerate for Saturday, do our best and see what we have done in this half-season. – is the comment of Josip Milardović, coach of Čepin.
– A difficult and tough game in which we were better in the first half and had one excellent chance, but the goalkeeper reacted well and saved the goal, after that we threatened a couple more times, but without a goal. In the second half, we disappeared and Čepin was much better, but we managed to eliminate all dangers in front of our goal. A point away from Čepin is excellent and we continued our unbeaten streak, now we only have three days until the next game to rest and win in front of our audience at the end of the half-season. – these are the words of Saša Balatinac, coach of Borc.
