Those affected by DANA in the Valencian Community and in Castilla-La Mancha will be honored next Monday by the Spanish team with a special t-shirt dedicated to all the victims of the tragedy. The names of all the affected towns will be on the shirt with which Spain will jump to the Heliodoro Rodríguez López before the Nations League match against Switzerland. This Friday, in the match against Denmark, the La Roja internationals will display a message of support for those affected on the warm-up shirt at the Parken in Copenhagen.
The current European champion will play for all the victims of the natural disasters suffered in Spanish territory, which have left more than 200 people dead and countless material damages. In line with the action of Spanish football, mobilized to support those affected by DANA, the team will play its international matches against Switzerland and Denmark remembering all those affected.
The Spanish players will wear a solidarity t-shirt this Friday in the warm-up of the match that will be played in Copenhagen in which the motto “We play for you” can be read, which has been the message chosen to activate fundraising campaigns.
And, for the match that will be played on Monday in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, against Switzerland, the team will take to the field before Heliodoro Rodríguez López’s match against Switzerland with a special jersey, which will include the names of the more than 70 towns that have suffered damage.
It will be one of the actions with which the Spanish team will contribute to sending a message of solidarity, in line with the activity already deployed by the Spanish football crisis committee, which is made up of the Spanish Football Federation, LaLiga and the F League, together to the AFE and FutPro unions, in addition to the territorial federations of Castilla-La Mancha and Valencia.
The Spanish under-21 team also joins its solidarity action, which will play in Albacete and will bring the message of solidarity and support from all of Spanish football to one of the provinces affected by DANA. The Carlos Belmonte stadium will be the scene of the campaigns calling for collaboration for all fans under the same motto: “We play for you.”
