Hannover. There was a week to digest one of the worst defeats since joining the Bundesliga. Last Sunday, the basketball Lynxes from TK Hannover lost 46:99 to runner-up Keltern with no chance from the start. Team manager Doro Richter had clear words afterwards: “Unpleasant. And way too clear. “You shouldn’t present yourself like that,” she criticized. But in the end it was “just a defeat that we just have to get over quickly.”

The lynxes are challenged again on Saturday, November 2nd, at 6 p.m. They play at home in the Birkenstraße sports hall against the Angels Nördlingen. “We have the chance to make up for our performance in Keltern with a good game,” says team manager Richter, but also points to the opponent who will have similar plans. The Nördlingers also suffered a massive defeat, 49:86 at home against the Osnabrück Panthers.
Neighborhood duel in the Bundesliga
There are many kilometers between Hanover and Nördlingen, and they are neighbors in sixth and seventh place in the Basketball Bundesliga table. Both teams have had three wins so far and two defeats. After the top start with three wins in a row, the TKH lost for the first time two weeks ago with 67:69 against champions Alba Berlin.
