He is not only Bruce Springsteen‘s manager, but also on the board of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. The guitarist confronted the manager about questioning the organization’s credibility. In a conversation with Eddie Trunk von Sirius XM he remembers: “When you play baseball as a kid, it’s a big dream to play well enough to eventually be inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. I told him that. But many young rock and roll guitarists have no respect for the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame. None of her favorite bands are in there.” In his opinion, the hall should be a place that “motivates anyone who loves rock’n’roll because all their heroes are there. They are the gold standard of metal bands. I know Bruce Dickinson said he didn’t care. But as a fan, it doesn’t matter to me at all. That’s why I will do everything in my limited power to get Iron Maiden into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.”
