Tomé’s proposals in sports matters – ORT News from the West of Asturias

The representative of the Mixed Group, Covadonga Tomé, held a meeting today with
representatives of Asturian sports clubs with the aim of collecting their demands
for the 2025 Budgets. “We are the only force that has sat down with the
clubs to really know what their demands are,” said the parliamentarian.
Tomé, who attended the meeting with Laura Tuero and Xune Elipe – members of his team and
of the negotiating group -, explained that his proposal for Asturies’ accounts already includes
an allocation of one million euros for this area.
Specifically, they are funds intended to “increase the various lines of aid to the
grassroots sport, placing special emphasis on measures that promote, through
aid, equality in sport.” Also “the creation of a new line for
finance sports projects based on the promotion of values ​​through
of sport, beyond high competition.”
Nicolás García and Fernando attended this meeting, representing the clubs.

La Calzada Handball, Oviedo Badminton, ADBA Basketball Club (Group
