Cleveland, on the other hand, is 6-0 and the Cavs are the only undefeated team in the East. The last time the club had such a start was in 2016, with LeBron James in its ranks – back then it went all the way to the play-off final.

da Silva makes a direct statement

After his debut against Miami, when da Silva remained without points after five minutes of playing time, the 23-year-old was allowed to play much longer this time. In just over 20 minutes, the forward recorded 17 points and five rebounds, as Silva hit with high percentages from the field and sank all three three-point attempts, making him Orlando’s second-best point provider.

Due to the absence of star player Paolo Banchero, the Wagner brothers were in the starting line-up together for the first time in the new season. Moritz Wagner replaced Banchero, who will miss four to six weeks due to a torn right abdominal muscle. Like da Silva, Franz Wagner scored 17 points, Moritz 14.

Daniel Theis also achieved his third win in the sixth game with his new team. The New Orleans Pelicans beat the Indiana Pacers 125:118, the world champion from Salzgitter scored three points against his former club.
