Los AngelesDodgeThe team (Los Angeles Dodgers) held a grand parade and stadium celebration on Friday the 1st, with star playersShohei Otani(Shohei Ohtani) and other stars appeared to celebrate the Dodgers’ eighth World Series championship with fans.

Seven double-decker buses carried players, family members and coaching staff from the highway to the starting point of the parade. The bus they were traveling on had the logo of the sponsor Yaamava’ Resort & Casino printed in the middle of the side. Yaamava’ had also previously sponsored the “Hi Mid-Autumn Festival Carnival” held by World Journal Los Angeles in September this year. The sun was shining brightly that day, and some players smoked cigars and drank beer to celebrate their victory and waved to drivers stuck in traffic jams.

The bus fleet was originally scheduled to arrive at the city hall at 11:00, but due to traffic jams, it arrived at about 11:15. Later, Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass boarded the team bus to congratulate and start the parade. The motorcade set off from the Gloria Molina Park in front of City Hall. The parade route will last 45 minutes and finally arrive at the intersection of 5th Street and Flower Street. The festivities at Dodger Stadium began at noon, with a live parade broadcast on the big screen and the arrival of the team. A portion of event ticket proceeds will be donated to the Los Angeles Dodgers Foundation for charity.

The team stated that due to transportation, time and logistical considerations, fans are unable to attend both the parade and the stadium celebration at the same time. Despite this, an estimated 150,000 fans wearing various blue Dodger costumes still gathered on the streets of the city center hours in advance to enthusiastically welcome the upcoming ceremony. Many mainstream TV stations broadcast the celebration live. The host of ABC7 said that he had already started buying souvenirs and showed off his championship baseball cap; Fox News (FOX11) had a minor accident during the live broadcast, and the audio track once cut to the conductor. Using the microphone of the on-site aerial photography, when the photographer saw the ambulance parked on the side of the road on standby, he humorously said, “This ambulance is for my heart.”
