Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche. Two weeks in Halloween colors at Alsh Aredien. At the leisure reception During the autumn holidays, the leisure center without accommodation (Alsh) in Saint-Yrieix offered various activities on the theme of Halloween. On average, sixty children per day, from 3 to 12 years old, attended Alsh Arédien over the two weeks. Many activities were offered to children according to their age, but many were suitable for everyone. Young and old alike went to the Jean-Pierre-Fabrègue cultural center to discover the current exhibition “Wilder Mann”, presenting photographs taken by Charles Fréger. After a guided tour, the children created, with great enthusiasm, their own wild men during workshops. Everyone went, a few days later, to the Arévi cinema to see two films around Halloween. Everyone took part in creative workshops, led by volunteers from the association Les Amis des fleurs du pays arédien, and created satanic mushrooms. They also welcomed Lynne from the “La Marelle” toy library (Rural Families 2) to Alsh. Adrien the magician came to meet them with, among others, Roger the Rabbit, and presented his show “The Magic of Halloween”. The adults were introduced to badminton by members of the Attane badminton club (Saint-Yrieix). As for the little ones, they participated in a lottery and won small gifts. The last day being October 31, while the group of little ones participated in an “escape game” in the reception premises, the group of adults, dressed up and dressed in costumes, went into town to meet the traders, who welcomed them very well. They collected candies, lollipops, meringues and other treats, which they brought back to Alsh to share with the little ones during the snack organized before the costume ball.
