UAT student stands out in the Junior Pan American Judo Cup

Brilliant performance in Montreal

Eduardo Sagástegui Becerra, student at the Autonomous University of Tamaulipas (UAT), stood out in the performance of the Mexican National Team in the Junior Pan American Judo Cup, held in Montreal, Canada. Sagástegui achieved a bronze medal in the -60 kilogram division, thus contributing to the medal haul of the Mexican delegation.

In this competition, the national team won a total of seven medals: one gold, three silver and three bronze. The Montreal 2024 Junior Pan American Cup is crucial, as it is part of the qualifying process for the Asunción 2025 Junior Pan American Games.
