Almen Bibic believes that Marcus Eriksson can end up in an Allsvenskan club quite soon.
Marcus Eriksson won the scoring league in the Hockeyallsvenskan last year when he played in Södertälje. Eriksson, with the most points ever in the Hockeyallsvenskan, had to make his SHL debut as a 39-year-old when he was signed to Skellefteå.
Now, however, the ice time in Skellefteå has decreased for the forward and TV4 expert Almen Bibic believes that he will soon play for an Allsvenskan club.
– I think so, it was a fun and daring experiment, but looking at the first two chains, I don’t know who he could poke. Now they even play Michael Brandsegg-Nygård in the third chain last game, so I think he will land in a hockey Allsvenskan club quite soon, says Bibic in The TV4 Hockey podcast.
Bibic believes in a comeback in Södertälje.
– I think Djurgården has plenty on that shelf with that particular age and they also have Linus Klasen outside, so then it will be Södertälje in that case, he says.
Ericsson has been recorded for five points in 15 games so far.
