Lucknow: The boys team from Uttar Pradesh won the silver medal in the Yonex Sunrise 47th inter-state, inter-zonal and junior national badminton championship being held in Bhubaneswar from Nov 19 to Nov 25.
The team from Uttar Pradesh, comprising Prabhas Kumar Kushwaha, Bhumesh Uttarani, Aradhya Sharma, Atul Kumar, Pradeep Kumar, Archit Sinha, Shivam Verma, Ujjwal Tomar, Aditya Yadav, Mohd Arsh and coaches Mukul Bharadwaj, Indra Mulyajya and Madhu Awasthi, has achieved a historic feat by winning silver medal after years.
Uttar Pradesh Badminton Association chairman Viraj Sagar Das, president Navneet Sehgal and secretary Sudharma Singh have congratulated the players, coaches and managers on this achievement.
