The team rating for Varese is 120, the best at the start of the season for Openjobmetis who also set a new seasonal record for assists with 25.

9 of these 25 winning passes, 40 of the 120 rating and 28 of the 104 points scored by Varese are from the MVP of the match, captain Matteo Librizzi.

Librizzi’s record for points was the 18 scored this season in the match against Trapani, and before the 2024/25 season he had only scored double figures in 3 games.

Only two other players this season have managed to reach a rating of 40: Ismael Kamagate (Bertram Derthona Tortona) and Mfiondu Kabengele (Umana Reyer Venezia) both on the first day of the championship.

The last player with the Varese shirt to record a performance with a rating of 40 or more was Colbey Ross in the 2022/23 season while the last Italian in red and white was Paolo Conti in the 2001/02 season, in particular in the match against Verona in which he scored 35 points with a rating of 47.

In addition to the personal best in points and evaluation, Librizzi also signed the personal best performance for three-pointers made (5), free throws (7/8), shots made in a game (12), fouls suffered (8) and assists (9).
