The handball players of SG Moosburg are on the road to success in the district league. Against Eggenfelden, the team remained calm even in a weak phase.
Moosburg – In the second home game of the district league season, the SG Moosburg handball men offered the fans a spectacle in the packed Albinhalle. In the end there was a narrow 31:27 (18:15) win over TV Eggenfelden, and coach Semir Hadzidulbic praised: “We won a top game today and showed a great team performance.”
Suddenly gaps in the defense
The start went really well. Captain Markus Voggenreiter advanced in attack and also kept the defense together with loud announcements. At the back, Marius Bölling and Daniel Stuckenberger were particularly convincing. Goalkeeper Felix Ebertseder presented himself as a great support and defused a few free throws. After the 4:3, the SGM dominated the action and extended the lead to 9:4 thanks to quick goals. However, a small dip followed. There were suddenly gaps in the defense and Eggenfelden closed the gap to 14:12.
Coach Hadzidulbic “completely satisfied”
Things got even tighter in the second half – and after a good 50 minutes the guests had equalized at 24:24. But Moosburg kept calm. Voggenreiter took responsibility and, among other things, scored the goal to make it 26:24. A little later, the SGM had increased the lead again to a reassuring level of 28:24 – and the fans were allowed to start cheering. “I’m completely satisfied today,” said a happy coach Hadzidulbic.
