Vidadi Rzayev: “The money allocated for children’s football in Ganja is being pocketed”

Ganja does not have the necessary conditions for the development of children’s football.”

About this İdman.biz said Vidadi Rzayev, a former football player of the Azerbaijani national team.

He commented on the refusal of the U-8 and U-11 teams to participate in the football tournament held in Ganja due to poor conditions.

According to him, similar mass competitions were previously held in Goygol. But this time a different place was chosen.

The Ganja football player said that he had a normal attitude towards this decision of about 40 teams:

“Because there must be conditions. That is why our children’s football is in such a situation. Unfortunately, we live in the 21st century, but such issues have still not been resolved. Ganja children’s clubs do not have a uniform. All the money gets pocketed. We are tired of talking about these things. How much do they talk about this? The children can’t even find a ball to play with. Everyone says that Ganja is the center of football. But that’s not true.”

Rzayev also emphasized that children’s football in Ganja has already been destroyed:

“The club management did all this. When I worked at Kapaz, it was the same. I am responsible for all my words. This is not the case in other clubs. At the beginning of the week we visited the Turan Tovuz Academy. All conditions have been created for children.”

It should be noted that the website Xezerxeber.az reported that the reason for the refusal of about 40 teams from the competition was the lack of appropriate conditions and failure to provide guarantees provided for by the regulations.
