Real Madrid has just reassured itself this Saturday in La Liga after a new European disappointment recorded this week, at home, against AC Milan (1-3) coached by former LOSC coach Paulo Fonseca. Opposed to Osasuna, the Madrilenians won (4-0) thanks to a hat-trick from the Brazilian Vinicius Junior and a goal from the Englishman Jude Bellingham. Aligned at kick-off, Kyllian MBappé played the entire match but the French striker still showed some technical difficulties which did not reassure him in a complicated period. For the second time in a row, the captain of the France team was not selected by coach Didier Deschamps for the next meeting of the Blues as part of the League of Nations against Israel (Thursday November 14 at 8:45 p.m.) and in Italy (Sunday November 17 at 8:45 p.m.).
The match against Osasuna was marked by three goals from Vinicius Junior who is now in second place in the scorers’ rankings, six points behind Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski (14 goals). The Brazilian’s second goal (Real’s third in the match) was scored after an exceptional kick from goalkeeper Andryi Lunin who had just taken an opposing corner. The Ukrainian goalkeeper was congratulated by almost his entire team for his decisive pass.
In the La Liga standings, Real Madrid is in second place, six points behind FC Barcelona, before the other matches of the weekend.
