Vincent Mannaert will soon become technical director at the football association
Vincent Mannaert will succeed Frank Vercauteren as technical director at the Football Association. White smoke is expected soon in Tubize.
Until recently, Vincent Mannaert, former CEO of Club Brugge, was in line to become CEO of the Belgian Football Association, but that mandate went to Peter Willems.
But the football association also needed a new technical director, because Frank Vercauteren’s contract expires at the end of this year. And so Mannaert always remained in the picture at the KBVB, albeit for a different position.
Both parties have now reached an agreement on this: Mannaert will become the new TD of the football association after Vercauteren’s farewell.
The KBVB has not yet officially communicated. The white smoke in Tubize is expected after the upcoming Nations League part of the Red Devils, when the last points and commas have been set.
