Visa fully enters basketball from the hand of the Euroleague. The payments company has signed its first sponsorship contract in this territory. It does so for three seasons, until 2027, and as global sponsor both of the Euroleague as well as the Eurocup, as reported in a statement. Financial terms have not been disclosed.
Visa will develop experiences and launch promotions and packages hospitality for their clients in the Final Four. It will also have visibility in all broadcasts, pavilions and digital content of both leagues. Likewise, it will collaborate with Euroleague in improve technology contactless in the pavilions.
Gawain Davies, commercial director of the Euroleague, has assured that “this agreement is an excellent opportunity for Visa and Euroleague to connect with the basketball community. “Visa’s commitment to removing barriers to connecting people through its digital payments ecosystem aligns perfectly with our mission to create unforgettable moments for our global audience.”

Visa is one of the most relevant sponsors in world sport, with agreements with Fifa, Uefa, the Red Bull Formula 1 team, NFL, the main properties in women’s soccer, the Olympic and Paralympic Games and other clubs and competitions.
