Venados de Mazatlán began the matches against Charros de Jalisco and with it the Mazatlán Food Bank IAP Series “Hit a Home Run for food 2024.”
The series will be supported by the Venados Vizsla Social Program, which seeks to promote the donation of basic food, which will be delivered to vulnerable areas of Mazatlán.
Ana Margarita Aceves Sánchez, general director of the Food Bank in Mazatlán, explained the mechanics of the campaign, which consists of donating 2 liters of milk, 2 kilos of beans, 2 liters of oil or 2 kilos of rice, to obtain a ticket for one of the three games in the Venados vs. Charros series.
Aceves Sánchez, in the company of his work team, invited the community in general to join the campaign during the three days of the series or bring their donation to the facilities.
For their part, the horned fans did not hesitate to bring the required food and that will be added to the ton of food that they seek to collect. It will be delivered to the 32 communities that the Mazatlán Food Bank supports in the city, in addition to 3 Concordia communities. , Villaunión and Escuinapa and 3 institutions.
This Wednesday and Thursday the Mazatlán IAP Food Bank Series will continue, the board will continue collecting food at the main entrance of the Teodoro Mariscal Stadium, the meetings will begin at 7:00 p.m.
