The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has announced that WBSC Premier12 2024 has achieved a record number of business collaborations with 36 partners.
Leading the way is WBSC Premier12 2024’s presenting partner, Ragzas. Known for its innovative contributions to the used car trading market and direct recruitment services through its Heugan subsidiary, Ragzas embodies its mission: “More smiling people around the world.”
Meanwhile, WBSC continues its strong partnership with WBSC World Rankings sponsor Konami Digital Entertainment. KONAMI, the world leader in video games, is expanding its involvement with baseball through WBSC eBASEBALL™ Powerful Professional Baseball, available in over 60 countries around the world on the PlayStation™Store and Nintendo eShop. Using WBSC’s official video game “ePremier12” as a platform, WBSC continues to promote baseball both as digital entertainment and as a sport with fan participation.
The uniforms for all 12 participating teams were supported by three companies: Kowa, NIPPON EXPRESS Holdings, and Daiso Sangyo (DAISO). Kowa Corporation is a multinational company with expertise ranging from pharmaceuticals to lifestyle and hospitality, DAISO is a pioneer in affordable retail, and NX is a large global logistics company. Kao has also been appointed as a global sponsor.
Sponsorship for WBSC Premier12 2024 was enhanced by regional sponsors, including MUFG Bank and Coca-Cola Japan for the matches in Japan, including the Super Round and medal matches. Broader sponsorship also includes Lawson, Japan Airlines and Fanatics.
The Taiwan round was supported by CTBC, Taiwan Sports Betting, Family Mart and EVA Air, while Mega served as the host broadcaster and main sponsor for the matches held in Guadalajara and Tepic.
The official suppliers of the WBSC Premier 12 are leading Japanese baseball equipment brand SSK, American sports analysis specialist Synergy Sports, global business payment company Corpay, and ball tracking technology Trackman.
WBSC Premier12 2024 ushered in a new era in international baseball with six global sponsors and 36 partners. The fact that the WBSC is expanding its sponsorship of the tournament in this way shows that it is working not only to enliven the tournament, but also to promote the growth of baseball as a global sport.
