The Paderborn Christmas market opens its doors
Downtown, Friday, November 22nd, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m
The time has finally come: the Christmas market is opening. The shining centerpiece is the imposing cathedral. The entire cathedral square also enchants with magnificent light displays and the historic town hall becomes the largest Advent calendar in the region. In addition to numerous food stalls, you can start the Christmas season quite comfortably.

Christmas market for four-legged friends

There is a special highlight at the Maunufakturmarkt: the dog Christmas market. Visitors can find a colorful mix of products from the areas of design, handmade, jewelry, handicrafts, fashion, decoration, delicatessen, art and upcycling as well as wonderful products for dogs. A good opportunity to shop for individual and unusual gifts and be inspired in a pleasant atmosphere.

Fotoausstellung “INSPIRATIONS”

The exhibition shows photographs by 22 artists from Poland, Ukraine and Paderborn. The photographs shown were taken in a joint workshop that took place in Paderborn’s twin town of Przemyśl at the beginning of May. The exhibition has already been presented in the Historical Museum in Przemyśl.

Two bands in Neuhaus Castle: Man & Agitation Free
Vocational college forumSaturday, November 23rd, 7 p.m
The German progressive Krautrock band AGITATION FREE from Berlin, founded in 1967, set milestones in experimental rock music in the 70s with unusually free instrumental improvisations for that time, achieved cult status with an independent mixture of improvised rock paired with electro, ethno, jazz and trance elements, is back and is once again proving her creative brilliance with her new album “Momentum”. The band MAN from Wales, with their experimental, pulsating rock approach, was one of the co-founders of progressive rock in 1968 with Pink Floyd. Through constantly new ideas, the band demonstrated how you can add a further psychedelic dimension to the “beat”. In addition to elements of the American West Coast sound, their blues roots are also evident.
