The photograph of the night of the electoral victory is again, for the most part, a photograph of family and personalities in the former president’s orbit. The image is almost identical to the closing photograph of the Republican Convention in Milwaukee and once again confirms how the Republican Party has become the party of Trump. Consolidated Trumpism is even more personalist than in the first term.
Despite the image of unity and happy family that Trump wants to convey, the absence of some of his members from the media spotlight has attracted attention. Melania has been seen on several occasions, and Ivanka Trump, who during 2016 played a prominent role in her father’s government, had not been seen again until the same election night.
Given that Trump has already made it clear that he will surround himself with his people in his second stint in Washington, the role that some relatives can play cannot be underestimated. But who is who?
Melania Trump
Trump’s third and final wife, and who will be the first lady again. After Trump’s first term, Melania disappeared from the public sphere and has recently appeared in spades with the president-elect. He only attended the Republican Convention and the rally in Madison Square, where he spoke for the first time in the entire campaign. The growing coldness that characterizes his interactions with the president-elect has been commented on.
Barron Trump
He is the first child of Trump’s children, the result of the marriage between the president-elect and Melania. Barron has voted for the first time this election and is said to have played a big role in advising his father on which podcasts to go to in order to get the young guys vote. Physically, he is attached to his father when he was young.
Viktor Knavs
He is Melania’s father and therefore Donald Trump’s father-in-law. The Slovenian was a car salesman in his native country. His wife, Amalija, died this year and the Republican quoted her in his victory speech.
Usha Chilukuri Vance
JD Vance’s wife [el vicepresident, de qui hem parlat en les primeres pàgines d’aquest dossier] she is a lawyer of Indian origin, and for a time was registered as a Democrat. Usha was the focus of attacks by white supremacists after Vance introduced her in society at the Republican Convention. The way Vance defended her was this: “Obviously she’s not white, and some supremacists have attacked us for that. But I just love him.”
Ivanka Trump
Donald Trump’s daughter with his first wife Ivana, Ivanka has always been involved in the family business and is currently the Vice President of Real Estate Development and Acquisitions at the Trump Organization.
Jared Kushner
Ivanka’s husband and owner of the Kushner real estate company. During the first Trump administration he was director of the Office of American Innovation and helped Trump define his policies on the Middle East.
Lara Trump
Eric Trump’s wife, one of Trump’s children, is one of the figures who have positioned themselves better within the family. Trump personally appointed her to be the co-chair of the Republican National Committee. “I need someone I can trust,” Trump said to justify his decision. The former television producer has been one of the biggest activists in favor of her father-in-law.

The tycoon’s third son is the current executive vice president of the Trump Organization. Although he has a lower profile than his older brother, Donald Trump Jr., he played an important role during his father’s trials, in which he supported him.
Donald III
Donald III is one of Donald Trump Jr.’s sons. with his previous wife, Vanessa Haydon. So, net of the president-elect.
Kai Madison
She is the daughter of Donald Trump Jr. with his previous wife, Vanessa Haydon. At the Republican Convention, he took the stage to talk about his grandfather. “For me [Trump] he is a normal and ordinary grandfather. He gives us candy and soda when our parents aren’t looking,” Kai said in an attempt to show a kinder side of Trump.
Donald Trump Jr.
Trump’s firstborn and his father’s political heir. Of the entire Trump family, Donald Trump Jr. he is the one who has been most under the spotlight campaigning in favor of his father, either by his side or in parallel events. The businessman has a clear inclination for extreme right-wing ideology.
Kimberly Guilfoyle
Ex-wife of California Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom (one of the great enemies of Trumpism) and current partner of Donald Trump Júnior. The lawyer and prosecutor works as a contributor to the Fox network and was an adviser to Trump.
Tiffany Trump
She is the daughter of Donald Trump with Marla Maples, his second wife. It is the one that is farthest from the media and political spotlight.
