Why the town hall of Figanières will have to put its hand in its pocket to finance the completion of the solidarity dojo

Several deliberations, submitted for approval to elected officials during last week’s municipal council, were unanimously approved. Concerning the solidarity dojo, the work supported by the municipality has been completed but part of the interior design remains. This must be supported by the French Judo Federation but its service provider having delayed in contacting the project manager, the additional work will be the responsibility of the municipality. A grant fund will be requested from Dracénie Provence Verdon agglomération (DPVa) on the portion already completed, to complete the financing of this operation.

The mayor, Bernard Chilini reminded the municipal council that the René-Cassin school has implemented the reinforced support educational project. This consists of homework help and methodology in order to meet the demands of families and the needs of students.

Classrooms made available

In order to organize this homework help, classrooms have been made available. For good coordination in the care of the children concerned after 5:15 p.m., part II of the internal regulations for after-school daycare and school transportation will therefore be modified.

The municipal council then approved the draft agreement governing the provision of the entertainment center to the “entertainment center” association and authorized the mayor to sign it. In fact, this association coordinates the activities and management of the occupation of premises between the different local associations.

Finally, the urban rainwater management agreement between the municipality of Figanières and DPVa will be renewed for two years.
