Wild Halloween, Harley Quinn with baseball bats and samurai with katana

All Saints’ night in Naples turned into a stage of excess, with extravagant costumes and out-of-control behavior. In the streets of the historic center, the carabinieri had to face a series of situations that required the intervention of the police.

Two young women, dressed as Harley Quinn, Joker’s crazy companion, have been reported for illegal possession of a weapon. The two “Harleys” sported baseball bats, the same weapon used by the DC Comics anti-heroine. The police seized the two bats.

Weapons were the underlying theme of the night. In addition to baseball bats, the police seized knives of all shapes and even a katana, wielded by a man dressed as a samurai. In total, 8 people were reported, including 5 minors.

During the controls of the territory, a 20-year-old Neapolitan was arrested for resisting a public official. The young man, without a license and under the influence of narcotics, attempted to evade a road check, hitting a soldier with his scooter and trying to escape. After losing control of the vehicle, he was blocked and placed under house arrest.

A 37-year-old woman, owner of a bar, was reported for selling alcohol to a minor. Four Neapolitans, already sanctioned for similar violations and subjected to DACUR, were caught carrying out illegal parking activities.

Two Moroccans, found to be illegal on the national territory, and a fifty-one-year-old Neapolitan, responsible for the escape, were released in a state of freedom.

During the operations, a Chinese restaurant was sanctioned for hygienic-sanitary violations with a fine of 4,500 euros, the seizure of 30 kg of untraceable food and the suspension of the activity. Three people were reported to the Prefecture for possession of narcotic substances. There were 13 violations of the Highway Code, five of which for failure to wear a helmet, with the administrative detention of five vehicles.
