Amateur football in the Atlantic mourns the death of one of its young players, who died this Friday, November 15, suddenly.

What is known about the death of the footballer
According to relatives, the minor was participating in a soccer game when he collapsed on the field. Then, he was transferred from the facilities of the German School, on Vía al Mar, to the Portoazul Clinic, in the same jurisdiction of Puerto Colombia.
Atlantic authorities, family and friends mourned the loss of Samuel. The Caimanes club published an extensive and moving message on its Instagram account.
“Our CFC Family is in mourning, we deeply regret the sudden death of our beloved athlete SAMUEL HODWALKER, from the 2009 category. We send all his family members our deepest condolences and a lot of strength to face this difficult departure of this loved one,” says the team.
“Samuel, CFC will remember you since you came to be part of our family, for your commitment, sense of belonging, for your achievements, your sincerity, your joy, your dedication, your humility and above all for being an excellent athlete and a very good everyone’s companion. In turn, the Atlantic Football League confirmed the death of the minor and extended “its most sincere condolences to the family and friends of the Caimanes club player… We raise a prayer for eternal rest and peace in his grave.”
Samuel’s last farewell
Through social networks, the Caimanes club invites those who knew Samuel to say their final farewell.
The funeral will be this Sunday at 9 am, at the Jardines de la Eternidad Cemetery, where the members of the sports club will be present.
