On November 16, 2024, the ASC Düsseldorf indoor sports festival took place in the large athletics hall. Three athletes from DJK SG Tackenberg used the frame together with around 450 other athletes to determine their position at the beginning of the indoor season.
Emi Strauch (W13) took part in her first major competition. She was happy with 9.90 s over 60 meters and 3.60 m in the long jump, but would have liked to achieve a little more.
Charlotte Höring, also W13, ran close to her best performance from the outdoor season with a time of 8.83 s over the 60 meters and took 12th place. In the long jump, however, a new house record was due for Charlotta: a nice jump over 4, 64 m in the first attempt was enough for 10th place overall. Unfortunately, Charlotta narrowly missed the final battle of the best 8.
Greta Potschien faced the biggest competition in terms of participants in the W12. She remained unimpressed and delivered a new personal best of 9.39 s over the 60 meters, placing her in the middle of the field of 65 athletes. In the long jump she was able to reward herself for the first time with a 4 before the decimal point. 4.09 m was enough for 18th place out of 67 participants.
