YouTube will celebrate its 20th birthday next year. The euphoria from the founding years has not gone away, the website still says: “We believe that everyone deserves a voice and that the world will be a better place if we listen to these voices, share them and build a community our stories form.” But who still believes that today? The large digital platforms are habitats for hate and agitation, propaganda and disinformation.
