*There is one dead and one injured
Zamora, Michoacán, November 23, 2024.- Two men who were traveling aboard a motorcycle in the 20 de Noviembre neighborhood of the city of Zamora were attacked by gunmen who managed to escape. The attack left one dead and one injured.
The violent incident occurred this Saturday morning, on Avenida 20 de Noviembre on the corner of Ferrocarril, just outside the Temple of San Antonio, where some neighbors looked out and discovered the offended victims lying down and asked for help.
Elements of the Municipal Police, Defense and National Guard moved to the site, who delimited the area, while the Rescue paramedics arrived and confirmed the death of one of the men, who was wearing a blue and yellow jacket, beige pants and black tennis
Likewise, the first responders stabilized the survivor and rushed him to a local hospital, where he was admitted. The identities of the victims are unknown.
Personnel from the Forensic Services and Crime Scene Unit, as well as Agents from the Investigative Police, carried out the first steps, collecting some shell casings, and transferred the body to the facilities of the Forensic Medical Service to perform the legal autopsy.
So far the municipality of Zamora has accumulated at least 13 people murdered so far this month of Zamora.
