“Zorkiy” is the champion of Russia in 7×7 mini-football among women

FONBET The Russian mini-football championship in the 7×7 format among women’s teams ended in Sochi. The winner was the Zorkiy team from the Moscow region. In the final, she beat St. Petersburg Zvezda with a score of 2:0.

The teams “Butsa” (St. Petersburg) and “Alfa-09” (Kaliningrad region) met in the bronze medal match. According to the results of the meeting, the St. Petersburg team turned out to be stronger – 2:0.

“Zorkiy” and “Zvezda” from St. Petersburg played in the final. The team from the Moscow region won with a score of 2:0, which became the first national champion in the 7×7 format among women’s teams.

In total, 24 teams from 19 regions of Russia played in the tournament. The matches took place on the fields of the Sports Territory sports complex in Sochi. Over the course of three days, the girls played 48 games.

– We are pleased with the tournament. We receive many words of gratitude from the teams. We held the Russian Championship for women for the first time; quite a lot of teams participated, which had previously passed interregional selections. The tournament turned out to be interesting. Congratulations to the winner and runners-up, but it seems to me that everyone has won here.

After the final, an awards ceremony was held, which was conducted by Deputy Secretary General of the RFU Irina Posirenina and Head of the RFU Grassroots Football Development Department Olga Mashchikova.

– best goalkeeper – Veronica Shevchenko, “Zvezda”

– best defender – Tatyana Konobritskaya, “Butsa”

– best midfielder – Ekaterina Mitrofanova, “Alpha-09”

– best forward – Natalya Derebezova, “Zorkiy”

– best player – Victoria Silina, “Zorkiy”
