130 athletes competing; four companies involved; a lot of commitment and a lot of passion. These are the ingredients of the 2nd edition of Christmas Star Trophy which took place last Saturday 14 December in the Poggiolino swimming pool. This is the first seasonal competition organized by the Rapallo Nuoto company for the Ligurian propaganda artistic swimming sector.
As mentioned, the event saw the participation of around 130 athletes, from the youngest, just 5 years old, up to the absolute category, with adult athletes. Four companies are the protagonists of the competition: Rapallo, Lavagna, Camogli and Bogliasco.
«The trophy was an important opportunity for comparison with other realities in the area – declares one of the Rapallo Nuoto Olimpia Benvenuto coaches – The results were more than positive: in all categories and methods of exercises, the Rapallo Nuoto athletes were you managed to achieve the goal of first places, demonstrating the quality of the work done so far.”
The satisfaction of the yellow and blue staff is palpable: the girls were able to swim with greater precision compared to the last training sessions, confirming the progress achieved and making an excellent impression from both a technical and organizational point of view.
A result that represents confirmation for Rapallo Nuoto in its third year of activity in artistic swimming and already at high levels.

The Christmas Star Trophy represented not only a sporting success, but also a great celebration of Ligurian artistic swimming which is increasingly at home at Poggiolino too!
