On November 29, the No. 2 Primary School of Qiaoshan Town, Ju County held a fun basketball game called “Confidence, Self-improvement and Striving for Progress”. The campus was filled with a strong sports atmosphere.
As an important part of the school’s after-school services, this activity promotes the development of school sports work through basketball, further establishes the educational concept of “health first” and inspires students’ awareness of lifelong physical exercise.
This fun basketball game has carefully designed two game formats, taking into account both fun and competitiveness. In the fixed-point shooting competition, students are divided into classes, and each class sends 10 players to participate. Both men and women have the opportunity to show off their shooting skills at the free throw line. This session not only tested the students’ basic basketball skills, but also inspired their collective sense of honor and team spirit. The five-a-side basketball competition focuses more on teamwork and tactical use. Each class sends 10 people to participate, and a single-cycle points-based competition is conducted in accordance with the latest “Little Basketball Competition Rules”. On the field, the students actively fought and cooperated tacitly, showing good competitive level and sportsmanship.
The successful holding of this event not only provided a stage for students to showcase their personal talents and team spirit, but also created a good atmosphere on campus that values health and sports. Qiaoshan Town No. 2 Primary School will continue to adhere to the educational concept of “health first” and guide students to develop good exercise habits and healthy lifestyles through a variety of sports activities, laying a solid foundation for their all-round development. In the next step, the school will continue to explore more innovative forms of sports activities to provide students with more opportunities to show themselves and challenge themselves, helping them grow up healthily and become pillars of society.
