Around 70 members, including numerous children, parents and friends of the club, came together in the festively decorated training hall to spend a special afternoon together.
A highlight of the celebration was the small children’s Christmas tournament, in which 16 young fighters from various training groups demonstrated their skills. The tournament not only offered a platform for the young judoka to gain their first competitive experience, but also the opportunity to make new friends beyond their own training group. The proud parents were able to watch the action from the edge of the mat and cheered along with their children.
After the exciting fights, experienced fighters from the club presented a short demonstration of advanced techniques. The spectators, especially the young judoka, watched the demonstration with wide eyes and applause. Physical well-being was also well taken care of. The guests were able to fortify themselves with coffee and cake as well as hearty sausages with salad and exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. The family atmosphere and the relaxed get-together made the Christmas party a special experience that further strengthened the sense of community in the club.
A big thank you goes to the numerous helpers who contributed to the success of the celebration with their commitment and support. Particular mention must be made of the organizers Daniel Dubs and Tino Vogel, who put together a successful festival with a lot of commitment and creativity
