Chris: I fully agree with his approach. Look, tennis is incredibly demanding.

You can’t be at your peak if you’re constantly battling injuries or burnout.zverev’s comeback after his ankle injury was remarkable, showing true grit and determination.Prioritizing his health now is smart; it’s a long-term investment in his career.
Moderator: He was so close to the number one spot before the injury. Do you think that experience has changed his perspective?
Chris: Absolutely. A serious injury can be a real wake-up call. You realize how fragile your career can be. It’s humbling, but it also forces you to reassess your priorities.
I think Zverev has matured both as a player and as a person through this whole experience.
Moderator: The Australian Open is just around the corner. Many would say that’s his best chance to finaly clinch that elusive Grand Slam title. Do you see him hoisting the trophy in Melbourne?
Chris: I wouldn’t count him out. Zverev has the talent and the experience to win a major. but, he’s facing stiff competition from the likes of djokovic, Nadal, and even young challengers like Sinner.

Moderator: You mentioned Sinner. The gap between Zverev and the current world number one is critically important – over 3,000 points.Do you think that worries Zverev?
Chris: [Laughs] A little healthy competition never hurt anyone! I think what matters most for Zverev is focusing on his own game, making improvements, and staying healthy.
The ranking will take care of itself if he keeps performing at a high level.
Moderator: what advice would you give Zverev as he heads into the 2025 season?
Chris: Like I said before, focus on your health.
Surround yourself with a great support team.And most importantly, enjoy the game. tennis is a privilege, not a burden.
