– Head Coach Burak Gören’s opinions
Aliağa Petkimspor Head Coach Burak Gören, in his statement, reminded that in November, when they had a difficult fixture, they lost 3 consecutive matches in the Turkish Insurance Basketball League, apart from the Unicaja matches in the Champions League.
Gören stated that they had a chance to win the matches in the Basketball Super League, but they could not do it, and said:
“Losing repeatedly had an impact on the team. We reacted as a team against King Szczecin by making a very serious contribution and with a very good cooperation. We need such victories to gain momentum again. We got an important result in terms of the club’s history. We started with the Champions League qualifiers. We won all the matches in the group stage, except the Unicaja matches, and earned the right to play in the last 16 rounds. We are very happy for this, and I would like to thank my players and the whole team for their efforts. “I do.”
